Qualities for the Future

My age will show for certain with this post, but I am a child of the sixties and seventies. When I hear three-part harmony, I get the chills. I grew up listening to Hendrix, the Chambers Brothers, and lots of Earth, Wind & Fire, and associated with those who believed that we could all live in peace and that love could prevail and that we really we had more in common than we did that set us apart. This quote about sums it up for me.

We cannot attain these qualities; we must strive to become these qualities and live them out if we want to see them manifest in others. I believe we can create the kind of world we want to leave behind for our children and their children and that it can be better and brighter than the one we are existing in today. I purpose in my heart to do my part, starting now and moving into the future. What say you?
